Many parents have given their children cell phones to stay connected in case of emergency. So if one of your children is at a concert and isn’t replying to your texts, you can see that their phone died and check-in with their friend instead of immediately calling the police and summoning the US SWAT Team.
Bully-Block (Apple iOS -$.99 & Android – Free) – This application is for helping when the user is in trouble. Record and send an email with audio attachment with text by tapping “Record and Send” button. Children can call to parents, friend or school by selecting appropriate options.
3. An App to Combat Costume Confusion
The Halloween Costume Generator (Apple iOS – $0.99) –Want your little Doc McStuffins to stand out from the rest? This app wants to help you get creative by offering you more than 200 costume possibilities. Just enter your gender, the kind of party you plan to attend and your mood, and the app generates a list of suggestions along with a set of do-it-yourself directions. The ideas run from pop culture icons, such as American Idols and Golden Girls, to more typical Halloween fare, like zombie brides and mimes.
4. Avoid the Mess with Virtual Pumpkin Carving!
